Getting started
How does sign-in work?+
Passwordless via email magic link. Enter your email, click the link we send, and you're in. Sessions last 30 days.
How long does the wizard take?+
About 90 seconds. We ask 6–7 short questions about your business and ideal customer, then redirect to Stripe checkout.
When will I see my first leads?+
Within 60 seconds of completing checkout. We kick off an immediate small batch (~8 prospects), and the daily cron tops up to your tier's cap.
What's discovery vs. monitoring?+
First 90 days = discovery (we sweep your selected region intensively). After that = monitoring (5–250 signals/month depending on tier — new business openings, status changes, contact updates).
Configuring your search
Can I change my settings after signup?+
Yes. /app/settings runs the same wizard with your current values prefilled. Changes apply on the next daily run.
What does the quality bar do?+
It filters by deal-size potential. "Cast a wide net" includes LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH. "Balanced" excludes LOW. "Best leads only" keeps just HIGH.
What if I run out of prospects in my region?+
After ~90 days, most local saturation is real. The product transitions to monitoring mode — fewer but higher-signal updates. If you'd like more leads, expand your scope (radius, multi-state, or upgrade to Pro for multi-vertical).
Integrations
How do I set up Smartlead auto-export?+
Go to /app/settings/integrations, enable Smartlead, and paste your API key + campaign ID. Every new qualifying lead from then on is auto-pushed to that campaign.
Does the webhook include a signature for verification?+
Yes if you provide a secret. We HMAC-SHA256 sign the body and include header X-Prospektr-Signature: sha256=<hex>. GitHub-style.
What if a push to Smartlead fails?+
We log the failure as a signal in your dashboard with the error message. We don't currently retry — try fixing the config and the next discovered prospect will push correctly.
Billing
How do I cancel?+
Go to /app/billing and click "Manage subscription" — that opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel, change plans, or update your card. One click.
When am I charged the full price?+
Day 31 of your subscription. The first 30 days are $1 (intro coupon).
Can I get a refund?+
See our full Refund Policy. Short version: $1 first-month is non-refundable; annual subscriptions can be refunded within 14 days of renewal if not materially used.
